Dear ECC Families,
I hope that you are finding some way to enjoy Spring Break. Hopefully your internet is working, your groceries are getting delivered and you are enjoying spending quality time with your children in the backyard.
We want to spice up our “Virtual Classrooms” next week. We are going to suggest that our students join our staff in Bet Shira ECC Spirit Week. Each day we have a different theme for our community to dress up in.
Please join us:
Monday- Favorite Sports Team
Tuesday- Super Hero Day
Wednesday-Bet Shira T-Shirt Day-April 1-Bet Shira Virtual Zoom Classroom Day
Friday-Pajama Day- Zoom Erev Shabbat Practice Program at 9:30 a.m.
Our staff will continue to do the incredible, creative job that they have done, posting each day on your homeroom app. Each class will also be posting an individual class schedule that includes a Zoom Meeting. I must say how much I have enjoyed all the parent entries. Way to go!
In addition, we have scheduled two full days of live "Zoom Virtual Classroom” activities from 9:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Each class will be offering a class that is geared to the age of their students. Everyone is welcome to tune in all day or to whichever opportunity that you choose. We would love to share on our public social media pages all the wonderful work of our students during virtual classes. If this is something you're interested in being part of, please reply to this email with pictures of your children learning and their work. These pictures of your children (without their names) will be posted on both Bet Shira ECC and Bet Shira Congregation's Facebook and Instagram pages.

We know that these are difficult times for our parents as well as our students. Please know that Rabbi Herman and I are always here to help in any way that we can. As Passover is just around the corner and I realize that many of our families will be making their own individual Seder at home, I have come up with a “Virtual Holidays to Go-Pandemic Passover Menu.” You can make as many of the dishes that you choose. We will upload the recipes and Youtube video demonstrations to the Homeroom Apps next week. Click here for the shopping list so that you can have the groceries delivered ahead of time.
The Menu is as follows:
Matzah Ball Soup
Apple Matzah Farfel Kugel
Potato Chip Chicken
