Lunch follows for those ending the fast after Mincha

Tisha B’av marks and remembers the many destructions and sufferings endured by the Jewish people. On Tisha B’av we read the scroll of Lamentations (Megillat Eikha) which relates to the theme of destruction and mourning. The 1:00 pm Mincha Service re-directs our thoughts to the establishment of the State of Israel. Following Tisha B’av there are seven (7) weeks of consolation to the Jewish people from God as we prepare for Rosh Hashanah. Please join us as we reflect and remember that which has happened in the past.
