PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Looking back on these past few months, I am exceptionally proud of the many innovative and exciting programs Bet Shira has offered to our congregants and the community. In addition to the regular programming we enjoy each year we’ve embarked on new adventures. These innovative programs have created excitement and provided opportunities for all of us to come to Bet Shira and participate. Our Membership Marathon, the Drive Thru Sukkah, Cooking with Judi Gampel and Esther Borenstein and our First Shabbats have all been tremendous successes. If you have an idea or program let us know. I encourage all of you to keep the new ideas flowing!

The second half of the year brings us the Youth Department’s Purim carnival and auction, the Spring Gala, Seminary Shabbat and more of our regular programming. Of course, I always look forward to seeing the synagogue filled with volunteers on Mitzvah Day! I hope you will be there too!
