PARENT EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT BET SHIRA

At Bet Shira Early Childhood Center , we educate our families as well as our students! We have several opportunities for Parent Education throughout the school year. In addition to regularly scheduled speakers at our P.T.A. meetings and Congregation sponsored Adult Education programs; our E.C.C. prides ourselves in our Director's Learn-ins and Family Education programs.

Director’s Learn-ins are short, interactive lectures on child rearing issues and other topics of interest to our parents. We also find that these learn-ins present an opportunity for all involved to meet in small groups with other parents and make personal connections. We come away from each experience having learned something new from the dynamic men and women that choose to send their children to our school. We hope that you will join us for at least one of the learn-ins this year. We look forward to getting to know you better. The dates for this Director’s Coffee are as follows:In addition to our Director’s Coffees, we also host Family Education Programs scheduled throughout the school year. Parents and children come together during our Family Education Programs to explore an aspect of Jewish Life. Our first Family Education Program will be held in late September and will feature a Learn-In with Rabbi Micah Caplan entitled “Rosh Hashanah:The Birthday of our World: The Birthday of our Lives.” The schedule for Family Education Programs is listed below. We even educate our Grandparents at Bet Shira Early Childhood Center! We hope that you will choose to learn and grow with us this year!
